The Use of Sustainable Materials in Interior Design to Environmental Conservation

Abstract :
Nowadays, we cannot maintain the quality and diversity of life, on earth or earth’s ecosystems, unless we embrace it. Environmental sustainability is responsibly interacting with the planet to maintain natural resources and not jeopardize the ability for future generations to meet their needs. The purpose of this article is to investigate the use of sustainable materials in interior design to environmental conservation. Sustainable materials management is a systemic approach to reusing materials more productively over their entire lifecycles. by looking at a product s entire lifecycle new opportunities can be found to reduce environmental impacts, conserve resources, and reduce costs. Creative ideas require interior designers to have a new vision in designing elements of interior spaces to environmental conservation, by adopting modern methods. Therefore, interior designers should find solutions to raise the aesthetic and performance level of sustainable materials.
